COACH
Seth Rowsam has been working and training in the functional and personal training space for more than 8 years. He especially enjoys the intensity and logistics of training for competition (pacing, movement cycling, keeping HR down, planned breaks, etc.). “I’m all about constantly making myself and those around me better each and every day, no matter how small or large the difference may be,” he says. Maybe that’s why he most enjoys watching a member break through a barrier or plateau that they have been struggling with.
Seth was a multi-sport athlete growing—with a focus on hockey—He focused his energies on hockey and lacrosse from middle school through high school. “After high school, I played three years of Junior B hockey (one year in a Northeastern American League, followed by two years in an Ontario, Canada league). A year of junior college lacrosse also happened.” During his senior year in high school (2007), his strength and conditioning coach had begun experimenting in using CrossFit with some of the athletes who frequented the gym. Ever since he has been hooked to everything functional training and was moved to pursue his degree in Exercise Science.
Seth is the Head CrossFit and Strength and Conditioning Coach for Arsenal Performance. He currently programs for the CrossFit classes and works with a limited number of personal training clients.

The people and community feel are some of the best things about the gym. I love interacting with our members and seeing new members fall in love with it. I decided to take the Level 1 to allow me to work with our members directly.”
Emily’s day job is at Harvard Medical School, but outside of work and the gym, she loves to do anything outside and is always looking for another trip to plan.

Founder and Program Director
Jason Gee has been working professionally in the field of health, fitness and performance for almost 20 years. As early as 2002 Jason began teaching group fitness classes in Atlanta Georgia while he pursued his own path training and competing in Mixed Martial Arts,Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Boxing. This led to opportunities to work with and train along side numerous veterans and future stars of the UFC and Bellator and even the NFL.
While Jason’s performance training experience dates back decades it wasn’t until 2011 when he relocated to Boston where he discovered what a powerful tool for personal development that CrossFit and community fitness is. “Training and working out have always been a part of my life, but until I started this type of training it was always a solo venture. Frankly I know from the outside looking in, it can seem really intimidating but I’ve never worked with a group of people before that so genuinely want to see the people around them improve and succeed.”
Ever since, it has been his sole venture and since founding Arsenal Performance with a small stack off barbells and a dream he has never looked back.
Jason is the Founder and Program Director of Arsenal performance. He currently focuses on community building and program design. You can find Jason in almost every type of class from CrossFit to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, teaching, training or just hanging out.
